There
       Were proposed by the ---------
Congress and submitted to the several
states of the Union for their adoption
or rejection. And whereas the said
proposed Amendments are now pending before
the people of this state for their ap-
proval or objection in accordance with
the provisions of the Constitution of the
United States, therein provided: =
        Therefore Be it Resolved by
the Assembly of the State of California –
the Senate Concurring, that the aforesaid
proposed Amendments to the Constitution
of the United States, be and the same are
hereby rejected =
